ABOUT

The Boundary Block Party is an annual event to connect and celebrate the neighborhoods of Bolton Hill, Upton, Druid Heights, Sandtown and Madison Park. It is our goal to bring our communities together across race and class to build a more unified and empowered Central West Baltimore. The block party is a celebration of community with live music, free food, public art projects, walking tours, kids activities, information about community organizations and a park clean up project. The goal of the festival is to provide residents a place to build relationships and community. Every year at the block party, resident help create a public art project. The first year we made art benches, the second year we made tile murals and this past year we made art side walk planters.

This past June a new group formed out of the Boundary Block Party effort. The No Boundaries Coalition is a group of neighborhood leaders from Druid Heights, Madison Park, Sandtown, Upton and Bolton Hill working together to deconstruct boundaries and reconstruct community.
